Abstract：We generalize mean ergodic theorem from amenable discrete groups to amenable discrete quantum groups and apply it to extend Wiener’s theorem from the unit circle to compact metrizable groups. Then motivated by a generalization of Semeredi’s theorem, we define the quantum group asymptotically fixing a sequence of finite subsets. Using this concept, we get a mean ergodic theorem for discrete quantum groups.
