报告摘要：The coadjoint orbit method of Kirillov and Kostant suggests that irreducible unitary representations of a Lie group can be constructed as geometric quantization of coadjoint orbits of the group. It encounters difficulties in the case of noncompact reductive Lie groups. Vogan reformulated the orbit method in terms of quantization of equivariant vector bundles on certain algebraic varieties closely related to coadjoint orbits. I will propose a new way to quantize orbits using deformation quantization of symplectic varieties and their Lagrangian subvarieties and examine Vogan's conjecture. This is based on joint work with Conan Leung and ongoing work with Ivan Losev.

报告人简介：余世霖，男，厦门大学99905银河在线登录平台教授、博士生导师。2019年国家高层次人才青年计划获得者。2007年本科毕业于复旦大学；2013年博士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学（Pennsylvannia State University）；2013-2019年分别在美国宾夕法尼亚大学（University of Pennsylvania）、香港中文大学、美国德克萨斯农工大学（Texas A&M University）从事博士后研究。主要研究领域为非交换几何和李群表示论。研究成果发表在《Duke Math. J.》、《Math. Ann.》、《Adv. Math.》、《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》等学术期刊上。
